My parents were considerably older when I was born and my mother's parents were in their mid-40's when she, an only child, was born. Sadly, I have no experience of having grandparents. But happily, I am a grandmother to three fabulous kids and am enjoying the experience though I think at first it was quite a learning experience being a grandmother having had no experience as to what it was like having grandparents. I was normal three kids ago shirt I think most grandparents live to enjoy the growing up of their grandkids. As a Great Grammy of 29 (age 22 to 10 mos), I now see some of them growing up. No one can ever be here as long as they would like but take advantage of what God has given you.
