This one kid in my All I want is for my mom in heaven to know how much I love and miss her shirt back in middle school was sitting during the pledge, the poem of the day and a prayer for students dying mom-she died a few months later- when he got up to go to the restroom our fellow redneck tripped him and said you need to have more respect buddy. Okay but the teacher making a big deal about it that lead to the child getting angry is on the adult you pushed the child to that point where he stated that he didn't want to stand for the pledge point blank don't make someone do something they don't want to do or they will obviously get angry. Some school district doesn't allow pledge of allegiance because "God" is in the pledge. Kid/anyone has the right to not recite the pledge. Teacher/school should have accepted his peaceful decision. Instead, the SUBSTITUTE teacher created a situation. Whenever we don't agree with someone or something, it not hate, just differences of opinions. We must learn to RESPECT the differences.
