How true, not everyone can afford a cell phone or have money to put in a bank account to have a debit card. The little bit of money they do have, pay cash to be able to keep track of their money. Hail Satan Unicorn shirt I always take out the cash I need for gas and groceries even though I have access to debit and credit cards. Cash is easier on my budget because I have it allocated. I don't always buy all my groceries for the week in one trip, especially fruit. We roll over any extra cash. It's not the same with debit cards. It would be more work on my end to have to balance it every time I went shopping. I prefer paying with a credit card. I don't usually have a lot of cash on me. Went out to eat and didn't see the small sign that said cash only (the place was super crowded and the sign was blocked) Was almost in real trouble but scraped enough cash together. Felt like the waitresses should make sure you know that before you order. But it's shocking to me that a place wouldn't accept cash!
