It was that damn Samsquanch shirt I disagree if we can have drug stores, dollar stores, payday loans on every corner of the street then its hard to see how people can't have access to banks or lines of credit. For those that don't want a bank account, you have access to prepaid cards. There are tons of them. Need to pay a bill without cash? As an example, Amscot has free money orders that don't require you to have a bank account to do so. While I agree, I suspect that vendors feel safer not keeping a bulk of cash which invites robberies (even internal thefts) that often result in employees being hurt or killed. I believe most management clear(ed) the tills frequently but die-hard robbers will take whatever they can steal.
