I need to be more like Piglet. I let someone down badly. Such heartfelt posts they really make you think. They had actually called in on Eeyore to invite him over for hot chocolate, but Eeyore had said that he was having one of those days when he just needed to be on his own. Hence Pooh's concern. They'll be back over again tomorrow, to make sure Eeyore always knows they're there if he needs them. You are one of the most caring and thoughtful people I know.

I felt so many feels at the beginning of the week whilst you were going through hell. The fact that you worry so much about the goof-ups means you are fabulous. Even just the simple reliability of someone/something Just Being. There, for *just in case* you need them/it...it can make so much difference to someone feeling a bit like Eeyore. (Quite typically for people like Eeyore, you might not realize just how fantastic it is to have someone Just Being There until they’re not available one day. Never underestimate the Eeyore and Pooh shirt power of Just Being There. But don't contact Eeyore and tell him to get in touch when he's ready cos Eeyore will find it very difficult to get in touch cos of his feelings of bothering people. I love the whole family in the Winne the Pooh books as they each have risen to the many challenges in life. Eeyore is wonderful and the fact that he is included is the most important.
